Fourth of July White Summer Sangria

White Wine SangriaHappy Fourth of July! I hope you’re all out enjoying this Independence Day with family, friends and the inevitable July fourth barbecue.

If you’re looking for a quick way to cool off around the grill, why not try this delicious white wine sangria recipe? It’s a simple addition to any backyard BBQ that is sure to please.

Fourth of July White Summer Sangria

Ingredients: (Serves 8-10)

  • 2 bottles of white wine
  • 2 peaches (wedged)
  • 2 oranges (sliced)
  • 1 cup of white grapes (halved)
  • 3 shots of peach vodka
  • 6 tablespoons of sugar
  • 1 bottle of lime seltzer

Step 1: Cut grapes, peaches and oranges. Place in a large pitcher or water cooler.

Step 2: Add vodka and sugar.

Step 3: Top with two bottles of wine and let sit at least one hour. The longer it sits, the better the flavors  meld and the more flavorful the sangria. I let mine sit overnight.

Step 4: Once it’s time to serve, top with lime seltzer and enjoy!
