About Megan

Allow me to introduce myself …

My name’s Megan. I’m a recent college graduate who ran the 400 meter dash, edits other people’s writing for fun, and wishes cheese had no calories. I hate having down time, so instead of basking in the glory of second semester senior year, I decided to start this food blog.

I’m not a chef, I don’t have a dishwasher, and I open the oven door way too often. That being said, I love eating well and am determined to find a cheap, quick, and easy way to do it.

Not all of my creations may come out perfect, but that’s what happens when you’re cooking on empty.

If you’d like to contact me, fill out the fancy form I created below. I can’t wait to hear from you!

Don’t worry, I’m not a chef either, and many times I come across ingredients I have never heard of, but I still love cooking and thats what matters. Have a pleasant day!

Mine don’t come out perfect either, but I love trying!

Megan – I am also a former track athlete – adore cheese (way too much) – edit writing for fun – and love to cook. πŸ™‚ I am impressed by your blog and your willingness to put yourself out there. I wish I had started a food blog at 22! Best- Shanna

Thanks Shanna! I really appreciate the positive feedback! What events did you run? I was a 400 meter runner myself.

I was middle distance… long distance after college. πŸ™‚ Cross-country girl originally. I wish I had your turnover! 400m – impressive!!!!! πŸ™‚ Track girls must stick together, right? πŸ˜‰ Have a great day. – Shanna

That’s funny because I wish I had your endurance!

If it is any consolation, Megan, it fades as one ages. Then you find yourself doing speed work and sprints to up you turnover! Best – Shanna

Ha! I am not a chef but love to cook and am learning to love baking as well. I think part of learning to cook what you love and loving what you cook is by not being afraid to experiment. I have had many a happy experiment.
Thanks for stopping by my blog and liking my post on Artichoke and Potato soup.
I am looking forward to getting food inspiration from your blog!

Thanks so much for checking out my blog! I completely agree. Cooking is all about getting your hands dirty and taking a risk!

Have I thanked you yet for following my blog? I should have. You have some great recipes here, and the general idea of this blog is wonderful. If people could learn to eat better, it could change their lives. Recipes are the smallest part of my blog, but hopefully they will be worth the wait. I’ll post a new one soon. My word. πŸ™‚
